The importance of irrigation

17/07/2009

A wrong irrigation system can bring your plants and pots to receive an excess of water that can not be absorbed and which rots the roots, or a defect of irrigation that can dry the leaves causing irreversible damages.

The main nutrient for plants and pots is in the air: it is the carbon dioxide, followed by by the water and other nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, all they present in the substrates and that are also important.

The irrigation water not only provides hydrogen and oxygen to the plant if not that, besides helping to form organic chemical compounds that play an important role in the formation of plant cells, as more 80% of a plant is water. It also transports nutrients from the substrate to the leaves and from leaves to other parts of the plant which helps further growth and perspiration.

It is in this point when irrigation systems have utmost importance, as RIDO, the automatic irrigation system for plants and pots.
An irrigation system for potted plants that is wrong or badly installed, can lead the ground to receive excess water that can not be absorbed and which rots the roots, or to a defect of irrigation that can dry the leaves causing irreversible damage.

A domestic irrigation system for plants and pots as RIDO avoid these situations of defective irrigation or overwatering and helps keep plants perfectly watered: RIDO the perfect home irrigation system.
